[/b].NOTE! The following information is a lot. The writing is long. If you cannot tolerate plenty of reading in order to understand Sage Mode on NR, then a Sage position is not for you.
Technique Name:Sennin Moudo | Sage Mode
Technique's Label: Universal.
Technique Prerequisites: ---
Type: Senjutsu.
Elemental Nature: ---
Description:Senjutsu (仙術; Literally meaning "Sage Techniques") refers to a specialised field of techniques that allows the user to sense and then gather the natural energy (自然エネルギー, shizen enerugī) around a person.
Senjutsu practitioners learn to draw the energy of nature inside of them, blending it with their own chakra (created from spiritual and physical energy within the shinobi). This adds a new dimension of power to the sage's chakra, resulting in the creation of "senjutsu chakra" (仙術チャクラ, senjutsu chakura). This chakra cannot be seen by anyone other than those who have been trained in senjutsu. This new chakra enables the user to enter an empowered state called Sage Mode, which can then drastically increase the strength of all ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu. A person who is able to use senjutsu is called a sage (仙人, sennin). What is Senjutsu/Sage Mode?
Also known as Sage Techniques, are restricted to those capable of calling themselves Sages and entering Sage Mode. Here's how it works...
Chakra is a balanced mixture of Spiritual Energy (AKA mental energy, from the mind) and Physical Energy (found in the body's cells). It is used to perform Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. Sages can add Natural Energy (from the earth and the atmosphere) to produce "Sage Chakra", a perfectly balanced mix of the three Energies. If too little Natural Energy is drawn in, then Sage Mode is failed, and if too much is drawn in then the person turns into stone.
By drawing in Energy from outside that the person is incapable of producing themselves, their capabilities are boosted greatly. Here are the gained traits:
Therefore, Sage Mode gives specific increases when activated. These increases include:
• +1 [Senpou] Name to all Upgraded Techniques Name. I.E: Senpou: Endan instead of Katon: Endan.

NR Senjutsu Mechanics
The process of entering Sage Mode involves number percentages, as it has to do with Chakra Reserves and Chakra Control. First, see or revisit Sub Skill Guidelines and Chakra Consumption System, and read the Senjutsu section in the former and the whole thread for the latter if you haven't already. Keep the tabs open because you might need to go back and forth between these three threads to fully understand the process of using Senjutsu.
You will see that each Senjutsu Skill Rank has a set charge max per post which will allow a set use time for Sage Mode until your SCR runs out, remember, you must always charge in percentages of 3's. For the sake of ease, here they are reposted:
You don't have to spend that amount of posts charge time; just means that if you're A-Rank in Senjutsu for example, then every charge post you spend will provide you with 33% worth of SCR.
Consider Chakra Reserves. During Sage Mode use, you must add another section at the bottom of your posts detailing the percentage of Sage Chakra left. Only Sage Chakra will be consumed during Sage Mode use, NOT the regular Chakra Reserves.
You'll consume as much CR as you will gain SCR, but there's the detail of NE in this. So listen up.
As NE accounts for one third of the mixture that is SC, the amount of CR spent during Charge Time Posts MUST be a percentage divisible by 3, and the amount of CR spent during the First Charge Time Post MUST be at least 9%. What happens during Charge Time Posts is the following...
CR spent during Charge Time is deducted from your available percentage. One third of it is removed as burned C, used up in order to draw in NE. The resulting amount is put into the SCR percentage, and then one third is re-added to it. The difference is that this new third is NE (as NE comprises one third of SC mixture).
So using the example of the mandatory 9% CR consumption for the First Charge Time Post (assuming that initial CR = 100% CR & initial SCR = 0%):
Therefore the amount of SCR you gain during any Sage Mode use is directly proportional to the amount of CR you spent during the charge time. There's just one additional detail about SC that you need to know.
NE comprises one third of the SC mix, so C isn't consumed as much. NE is inserted where there would normally be SE and PE, so using this new Energy allows the Sage to save up their C (SE + PE) during Sage Technique use.
Go back to that Chakra Consumption System and note that chakra consumption is dependent on both CR and CC, and there's set percentages for every Skill Rank of the former, while the latter dictates the exact percentage that will be deducted per technique use.
Note: There are several disadvantages to Sage Mode. One of which is -1% Deduction of your Sage Mode Mandatory out of your SCR, and this adds to any technique you used.
Also, After Sage Mode, your CR takes a 10% dip from its initial levels before entering Sage Mode, to a minimum of 5% chakra.
Also, you grow physically tired due to your body coming from a supercharged state to a state of weaker form, your normal physical stats will take a 1 deduction from Shunshin[Speed Only], and Taijutsu[Strength & Stamina Only].[/font][/font][/div][/blockquote][/blockquote]
