Power & Defense

Power & Defense-Levels are a universal concept on NR that has a synonymous effect regardless of element, person, or object. Power also means Physical Strength, so to clarify, if someone did have C-Rank Taijutsu[Physical Strength], then an C-Lv Doton Technique will deal the same amount of damage as a direct full-power kick/punch. As said before, synonymous to all creations regardless of existence. Defense-Level has the same effect. Something of C-Level Defense[Endurance] will be of the same strength as C-Level Power[Physical Strength], as such, can withstand a singular attack, but constant attacks will inevitable shatter or otherwise kill the defense as natural.

An B-Lv Katon Technique will be hotter than a C-Lv Katon. B-Lv Raiton will deal larger shocking damage and produce more excess heat than C-Lv. B-Lv Suiton will deal more concussive/blunt depending on the technique than a C-Lv. Etc. Now that that's been explained, here are the differences that occur if something were stronger or weaker.

--Law of Counterbalance & Advantage 

-If two of the exact elements collide, the one with the highest attack will absorb the lower attack and increase its power by +1 in Power. If two of the exact same elements collide, and they possess the same power Lv, them both attacks will cancel.

-If an Element possesses an advantage over another element - such as Suiton has to Katon, then that element will have an increase of  +1 to their base power-lv over its strongest element, and vice versa. As such, even if the Law of Advantage causes the increase, if the suiton technique does not possess sufficient or equal power, the Katon technique with the disadvantage will still overpower  the weaker one. There is always one law, the strongest attack will always win.
