First Day of Winter Break - Konoha only-

[Sarutobi Sasuke]

The ticking clock was a constant reminder of what ever child in the room was thinking. The bland walls only helped to focus them all on a single unifying thought: Getting out!! The class room was ripe with anticipation for the last bell, The sounding of Solstice. School would be over for the next few months and that meant the kids were free to do as they pleased with there days. Sasuke, however, had decided to leave early, leaving a clone in his place. The Chunin teaching the class didn't even realize at first since Sasuke was always in class early, and sat quietly. If not for the Clones inability to show displeasure at his classmates ineptitude. However, in doing such a good job, His teacher figured he earned it. As the bell went off and his classmates ran to leave, bumping into his clone. Oh Sorry Sasuk- WHA!?! A small blast of smoke dispersed his clone sending a puff of smoke billowing in a quick pillar. The class just stared wide eyed for a moment while the teacher just smiled. It wasn't generally Sasuke's style to be flashy but he was eager to leave. Though his proficiency with the basic academy jutsu was nothing less than impressive.


Walking through the training field, he could hear the bell and almost feel the stampede of children's feet from where he was. With a wry smile he hunker down behind a snow wall he started to make with his extra time. Not to mention the dozen or so of snow balls he placed behind it. As the kids ran towards him, invisible from the white on white cover of snow, Sasuke started to throw snow balls at the on coming kids, much to their chagrin. Most of the other kids started to throw snowballs back at him, ducking and dodging as best they could. The rare few just continued on their way. This was the best way Sasuke could think of to kick off the winter break with as many of the kids as possible.

The winter months were a bitter sweet time, though not for the most obvious reasons. The Academy kids had a good month or so starting today to wreak havoc all around the village. Granted, in about a weeks time most of them would come down with colds and be stuck indoors for a while, but that wouldn't happen for a bit; until that time it was all hell. Kiyomi remembered her days in the Academy quite well seeing as she was only a couple years removed from it, though unlike those she graduated with her talents had already took her to the rank of Chunin. Hell, those her age were still in the Academy. The young Uchiha wasn't one to gloat, but every so often that thought crossed her mind. Few others would experience the push her parents had given her to be great, no, exceptional. Kiyomi was to be the second coming of greatness... a greatness that had abandoned them. She stopped for a moment to regain her composure before continuing on.

The destination today was none other than the training grounds and as she neared them many voices could be heard. Was there a group exercise taking place? Those were always interesting to watch. However, her curiosity would soon be shattered by the sight of small kids running around throwing snow balls at each other. The Academy runts had taken over the training grounds... at least this one in particular. She sighed and started to turn in the direction of another one of the training areas, perhaps there she would find some solace. Just then, a flying ball of frozen water came hurtling towards her, one of these kids were going to pay. Her eyes flashed crimson for a moment, slowing down all around her. Kiyomi quickly side stepped the projectile as her hues returned to their normal dark color.

Now they had messed up, these brats were going to pay. "Hey! Which one of you threw that snowball at me?" The Chunin asked in a voice that was rather new to her. She didn't like to yell, but something about these kids was driving her crazy. Kiyomi half figured none of them to fess up which meant they would all pay in one way or another.

[Sarutobi Sasuke]

Sasuke was having a good time with his fellow classmates. Blowing off some much needed steam. The laughter and cheer from the joy of anticipated freedom. The cold air seemed nonexistent with all the running and throwing. The Afternoon sun was high in the sky, shining light for all to enjoy and just enough warmth to fight the winters cold. The children had all chosen sides, falling into 3 man teams they all hoped to be on. On Sasuke's team a large boy name Hicho and a adorable blond haired blue eyes girl on the other side named Inomiko. The three of them were dominating the field with Sasuke leading them. Inomiko did what she could to support, throwing small snowballs to snipe people, waiting for her moment while suplying more snow balls for Hicho and Sasuke. Mean while Hicho threw large snow balls as hard ad he could, aiming to either hit people or there defensive walls in hopes of damaging them. Sasuke however took a non combative role, throwing medium sized snowballs to intercept incoming snow balls. His skill with projectile weapons was far beyond his peers so he didn't want to exploit that. So instead of terrorizing the field he simply covered for his friends to keep the fun going. 

It was then that Sasuke saw a fairly well known personality in the village, a "genius", or so he'd been told. She was young and skilled but in truth Sasuke didn't think much of the hearsay. He just knew she was,despite her reputation, still an 11 year old girl. He smiled to himself as he intercepted a few snow balls meant for his untarnished uniform. Sasuke was well beyond his peers in most things and was considered to be ready to graduate by all of his teachers, considering it a forgone conclusion that he will have graduated by the time school kicks back up and Sasuke knew it too. So to him this was his last hurrah with his friends before he had to go his seperate ways, so he wanted it memerable. So for the first time in the entire fight Sasuke threw a snowball with the intent to hit someone, and that generally meant that he would. 

As he saw the side step, he noticed a familiar shift in eye color, even from far away Sasuke knew. The sidestep at the last possible moment just secured his suspicion. She activated her Sharingan to avoid a snowball? Sasuke was admittedly shocked, he had hoped to hit her and never expected her to react that way. Her yell stopped the snow ball in an instant, everyone dropping there respective projectiles and held there breath, just staring in fear. In the same instant Sasuke jumped ontop of his snow wall,facing the girl. His face had a HUGE and welcoming smile across his face. I did, Why don't you join us? the boys happy voice carried in the utter silence, as far as anyone needed it to. He absently tossed a well made snow ball between his hands. It's not gonna kill ya ya know, It's just snow. with a small twitch of his foot he signaled to Inomiko to make more snowballs.

As if almost on cue the kids stopped their merriment as they quivered in fear of the young girl's booming voice. Looking over each of their faces gave a slight satisfaction to the Uchiha who figured that all it took was a slight yell to make them come to their senses. Not that she was going to scold them or anything, hell, she was partly doing this for fun and would be on her way shortly. Then again, if none of the brats decided to answer Kiyomi would have to stick around a bit longer to obtain the information she requested, and perhaps cause one of them to produce some lemon flavored snow cones in the process. However, it seemed that would not be the case as one of the six spoke up and admitted to throwing the snow ball. A quick glance revealed nothing extraordinary. He was a few years younger than herself, most of them probably were. Though the flak chest on her chest vastly separated their ranks, in actuality the Chunin was only the groups senior by no more than three years.

Maybe it was a half veiled attempt to apologize in his asking for her to join, or perhaps they really wanted an extra person. A small jet of steam escaped her nose as the girl exhaled. She really didn't have time for this as there was training to be done. Then again, her projectile training did need some work and what better way to practice than on live targets? Perhaps a bit sadistic but they'd never know the distance. Dark hues scanned between the two sides, it was three on each team so her joining would unbalance the squads. "You..." She spoke to one of the kids on the team opposite of the Sarutobi. "... Over there, I'll be on this team. It'll make things a bit less lopsided." Kiyomi added before moving behind the child-made snow wall. There were an alarming number of already made snowballs laying on the ground; it was a miracle none of them had gotten frostbite. "Ready when you are." The Chunin spoke once more with a slight grin. She was going to have fun walloping these children with snow under the guise of a friendly game, but underneath this was training for the real deal.

[Sarutobi Sasuke]

Sasuke smile widened as his right hand caught the snow ball, as if adding the point to her statements. Sauske wasn't intimidated by her attitude, her mother was the scariest person in the entire village and he's made her angry. This little girl had a long way to go before her "mamma voice" could compare. She was however very obviously beyond the lot of them. Even as she approached a girl ran off, her little dog yelping as it ran beside her at top speed. She was on the team opposing Vallen and didn't know what else to do when she said she was taking a spot. She just ran and ran until she was out of sight and her dog couldn't be heard. BYE RIKKO!! Sasuke shouted to her and then returned his focus to the girl taking her spot.

Ok, This is what I'm talkin' about. Finally he would have a reason to try. His Skill with projectiles was well beyond any of the other children present. So with a Flack Jacket wearing Chunin in the mix he would have to try his best. He knew well enough that this about to shift against his team and hard. It was fine though, Sasuke had put up more than 2 snow walls, so there was still tactical maneuvers to think about. not that his teammates would be of much help, they would still be a part of his team and that was part of the exercise for him. He had to protect his team from a much stronger force.

The other 4 kids on either team didn't know what to do, they all loved Sasuke and feared Kiyomi, pulling them in 2 very different directs. However,despite there fear or love they all accepted that something beyond them was about to happen and they wanted to be a part of this. Some of the other teams that were playing had taken up vantage points to watch what was about to happen. Hushed whispers moves through the crowd of spectators, curious to see what was going to happen to the Prince of Konoha. Then, almost as if the shattering of glass a girl screamed GO OUJI-SAMA!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!

I guess thats the signal, huh? He said as he launched the snowball towards the opposing team. It was just a fun throw, nthing beyond what his team mates could produce. He didn't want to show his hand just yet, he had to play any suprise close to his chest. If he had ANY chance of hitting the girl it had to be done absolutely right and even then it was more than a long shot. His lithe body disappeared behind his snow wall. Inomiko had stock piled a impressive supply. Hicho had taken the time to fortify their wall in preparation.

** All the kids have the same stats and that's all E- ranks. and they can't use any jutsu or special abilities( IE no bugs for Aburames). That said you can use any clan you want since it's just for fun. though i guess an Inuzuka is out since she just ran off lol but i mean not necessarily.**

A look of utter disbelief was plastered across the young Uchiha's face as she watched the girl and her dog run off. She hadn't meant to scare the girl off just tell her to move to the other team. It wouldn't have been fair for Kiyomi to be on a team with three others; that was the true definition of overkill. Damn, oh well. It was then that she noticed that a whole gaggle of people had started to crowd around, many that she had not noticed at first. Hmm, very well, so long as they knew the consequences of standing too close then the girl was fine with it; and if any of them got in the way then there would be no hesitation to forcibly move them out of the way.

Kiyomi glanced down at the two remaining kids that were her team, they still seemed a bit uneasy as if waiting to see if they, too, were going to sent scurrying away with their tails between their legs. Overall they weren't impressive, but with a great leader then they'd be of use. A hush fell over the field as anticipation rose for the first snow ball to be fired, then came a high pitched scream that was supposed to be a cry for support. Well, it was obvious who the bystanders were rooting for. Then came a snow ball hurtling towards their base. The two kids ducked behind the wall of snow while Kiyomi simply side stepped the projectile. She watched the Sarutobi duck behind his wall of snow without any of his three so much as faking an attempt to throw.

So it was a siege he wanted, eh? Very well. "Grab a snow ball and aim for the left side." The girl spoke to her sub-- teammates. All three soon had a ball of frozen water in their hands and quickly chucked it at the left (their left) side of the snow wall. She wanted to see just how sturdy their defenses were and then make a plan from that point on.

Sasuke smiled as he took a calming breath. He was preparing to do the impossible and that needed a level head. Ok guys, this is going to be tough but if we do this right we'll ALL be legends. With the sound of a few snow balls hitting the left side of the fortified wall. the Projectiles did little more than add to the already packed wall. Hicho couldn't have been prouder of his wall but he was trying his damnedest not to show it in this situation. Sasuke picked up a particularly large Snow ball he had been making and packing as tight as he possibly could, Cho, you pack five or so balls together and then launch it over at the other side, mortar it. Ino, throw as many and as fast as you can, keep his team mates busy. if we can get it down to just her, we may stand a chance.Even before Sasuke finished speaking Hicho had his part done and waited for the signal. Inomiko was also just waiting for her Que and it came quickly.

From behind the wall of snow came a massive ball of snow sailing high into the air, aiming to splash down on the opposition. Mean while Inomiko was rapid firing snow balls at a just above the top of the opposing wall, trying to keep them focused on her and not so much on the giant snow ball in the air. With his Plan in effect he quickly made his move, A swirl of snow and leaves noted his use of Shunshin, but that would have been hard to see with a wall of ice and snow in the way. As he moved, he lashed his hand out and sent a snowball flying at the giant snow ball. Even as the Sasukes big snow ball flew it got smaller and smaller, the force and speed of his throw shedding down the snow  in a diamond dust trail behind it. However before it was gone it collided with the conglomeration of snowballs, seperating them to rain down on the group.

Though the girl wasn't entirely knowledgeable on the subject of snow ball fights and the such it was basically just projectile and tactic training all rolled together in one, and played out with frozen water instead of dangerous weapons. She had been through quite a few of these simulations, and a couple real world experiences, during her short time on this plane of existence and was keeping a fairly level head about things. Of course, she wasn't going to take this completely seriously as to avoid running the risk of someone breaking a nose because of a ridiculously overthrown snow ball, but at the same time this was a surprisingly decent substitute for training. Albeit, the opponents weren't nearly as adept at hiding their whereabouts but the snow made it a little more of a challenge.

Looking to her two teammates, the Uchiha began to think up a couple plans of action for how to best take out the loud mouth on the other side. Given how decently made the other fort was simply assaulting it was not going to do much of anything. Chances were they were going to either try and take the two little ones out first or go for Kiyomi herself, either way it wasn't going to be an even assault. "Both of you just keep making snow balls, as many as you can. Be wary of your surroundings, as well, and if you have to dodge then don't hesitate." She spoke as the two kids began to pack snow together at a surprisingly fast rate.

It was then that the shadow from a fairly large snow ball began to cast over the ground. Large, but extremely slow and easily avoidable. Surely they weren't expecting this thing to actually hit anyone, were they? A second, smaller snow ball moving at a greater speed came barreling for the first and upon impact somehow caused a rain of even smaller snow balls to start raining down. Odd. The Chunin was confident in her skill to evade but wasn't quite sure on how the other two would fare, and being at a disadvantage this early was not something she wanted to experience. "Stay still." Kiyomi spoke as her eyes flared red. The snow above seemingly slowed and became easily traceable.

Kiyomi quickly grabbed a snow ball in each hand and tossed them at any pieces of falling snow that were getting too close to her or the two kids assigned to her team. It was quite the sight, actually, watching her throw then pick up two more snowballs all while jumping around and the such. In due time the snow that wasn't a threat would fall harmlessly to the ground as the Uchiha's team remained spot free. Red pupils quickly faded to black as a small sigh escaped her lips; she didn't want to have to use the Sharingan but wasn't about to lose after just one attack.

"Keep making snow balls, we'll make a move when they do." She spoke while crouching back down under the protection of the snow barrier.
