MISSIONS --

Missions are the way a shinobi makes their living. All shinobi go on missions of varying length and difficulty. You can register missions to go on by yourself or with other people. Of course, there are a few guidelines.

1. You cannot register a mission that is also a plot or vice versa. That is classified as abuse of the system.

2. Mission threads cannot be started before they are approved.

3. Kage are only allowed to take part in A-Rank and S-Rank missions, and never solo.

4. Missions as a whole do have a minimum word count.

5. Rogue shinobi are allowed to take on missions of B-Rank and higher from clients outside the five major villages.

There are five different ranks of missions that vary in difficulty, from something even a rookie genin could do up to something even a Kage can't do alone.

S-RANK MISSIONS
Assigned to: Experienced jounin, Kage, Kage-level rogues.
Types of Mission: Assassinating VIPs, Daimyou, and Kage; transporting highly classified documents.
EXP Earned: 80,000 EXP.
Ryo Earned: 80,000 Ryo.
Word Count: 8000.

A-RANK MISSIONS
Assigned to: Jounin, Kage, jounin- and Kage-level rogues.
Types of Mission: Guarding VIPS, Daimyou, and Kage; important matters of state; suppressing shinobi forces.
EXP Earned: 60,000 EXP.
Ryo Earned: 60,000 Ryo.
Word Count: 6000.

B-RANK MISSIONS
Assigned to: Chunin, Jounin, chunin- and jounin-level rogues.
Types of Mission: Guarding people, espionage, assassination, retrieval of important documents.
EXP Earned: 40,000 EXP.
Ryo Earned: 40,000 Ryo.
Word Count: 4000.

C-RANK MISSIONS
Assigned to: Experienced genin, chunin.
Types of Mission: Guarding people, background investigations, capturing or suppressing wild animals.
EXP Earned: 20,000 EXP.
Ryo Earned: 20,000 Ryo.
Word Count: 2000.

D-RANK MISSIONS
Assigned to: Genin.
Types of Mission: Odd jobs, chores.
EXP Earned: 10,000 EXP.
Ryo Earned: 10,000 Ryo.
Word Count: 1000.

Genin are allowed to solo D-Rank missions. Chunin are allowed to solo D-Rank and C-Rank missions. Jounin are allowed to solo D-Rank, C-Rank, and B-Rank missions. Elite jounin are allowed to solo D-Rank, C-Rank, B-Rank, and A-Rank missions.
