The Parasitic Destruction Insect Technique is a practice exclusive to the Aburame clan. When children are born into the clan, their bodies are offered to insects to be used as a nest. Over the years, as the child grows up, they are instructed in the secret techniques of the clan, and learn how the insects may serve them in combat. Most Aburame are inhabited by kikaichū, however, the clan does not limit themselves to the use of one type of insect. Some members of the clan like Torune and Shikuro instead have nano-sized, venomous insects, a rare type of insect even within the Aburame clan. Shino was also shown to host another unique insect in his body called the kidaichū, an insect he note was problematic to host in his body because of its characteristics.

This is an extremely useful move for Aburame clan members, since their attacks mainly focus on the usage of insects. However, using this in the midst of a battle can be potentially dangerous as it leaves the user static and vulnerable. As such when this technique is being employed, the user generally finds a safe location or otherwise can be guarded by their team-mate.

At the highest level of the technique, the user converts calories into chakra and releases the chakra in the shape of two large butterfly wings. In this form, the user can use some of their clan's high-level techniques, such as the Butterfly Bullet Bombing technique several times without experiencing fatigue or other adverse effects. Description:

Firstly, the user creates a clone — which resembles a chibi version of themselves — made from the oil and water in their body. The water in the clone is surrounded by a thin layer of oil and due to this structure, the clone's temperature can easily be altered from cold to hot and vice-versa. When it exerts itself, the outer layer of oil heats up and evaporates the water inside. As the internal pressure builds, the clone expands until it violently explodes and the water vapour is released. This vapour then cools down as it rises and as a result, turns into hail that cools the clone, causing it to shrink to its original size and start the entire process again.

Despite its constantly increasing size, the clone itself remains very fast throughout the technique, enough to elude even Gaara's chakra-infused sand. This high-speed movement also allows it to heat up very quickly and to more easily inflict damage using an axe-like liquid blade that it is able to form on its arm. However, using this powerful technique leaves the user in a severely weakened and vulnerable state.

Man and beast transform into a single two-headed, gigantic animal thanks to the Human Beast Combination Transformation: Double-Headed Wolf technique, and have their body spin in a violent assault against the enemy. The ultra-violent rotation creates a vacuum vortex in its surroundings, that tears the enemy apart even without touching them directly. The excessively high speed of the rotation strips the user of their field of vision, but marking the enemy beforehand makes it possible to tail them with the sense of smell. In the anime, if the user is skilled enough though this is unnecessary. The power is great enough to dent a Rashōmon gate. Such power is not without its drawbacks however, as it can quickly tire the user out.

Description:

Tetsuzaru was the principle fighting style of the Kajou clan and one of the reasons those who were learned in the way were regarded as savages for their propensity, and success, at charging headlong into a fight without any tangible weapons. The focus of the style was for the user to "become" the weapon, and utilize their body as one might a sword. With this fighting style the old adage of "don't bring a fist to a knife fight " simply does not qualify. A user hardens the surface area of their extremities through advanced chakra control and is able to engage with a weapon wielding enemy with their hands, feet, legs and arms.

"Iron Monkey" is a style of combat which imbues the users limbs with qualities found in weapons by flushing the pathways within the body with chakra. A ninja who utilizes this style will find themselves able to obstruct the path of a swinging blade with their limbs and extremities, but not experience many of the adverse conditions that accompany such reckless behavior typically, such as the loss of that body part. The augmentation also adds impact to the strikes from the wielder.

The Shadow Imitation Technique allows the user to extend their shadow on any surface (even water) and as far as they want as long as there is a sufficient area. Once it comes into contact with a target's shadow, the two merge and the target is forced to imitate the user's movements. If the target is out of range, the user can produce a better light source to increase their shadow's size or rely on pre-existing shadows for their shadow to freely travel through. It's also possible to split one's shadow, either to trap more opponents at once, or to create a distraction. The shadow can also be attached to people without binding them, letting the "victim" move freely. Doing that has the purpose that the person, the shadow was attached to, makes contact with a third person, to bind the latter one with the shadow.

This is a ninjutsu using materialised shadows, but compared to the Shadow Sewing Technique from the same line, this technique places emphasis on the minute control of the shadow's movements. It is accurate enough to even make the tentacles go through tiny holes. Basically, this technique takes the user's own shadow and transforms and stretches it into countless thin tentacles, which are then used to grab objects and pull them in. Also, one can skilfully make use of the tentacle-shaped shadow tendrils by using them to lift up and throw weapons like kunai and such. This technique has many possible applications and uses. There are no hand seals used for this technique, but the hand movements resemble that of Gaara's Sand Binding Coffin.

This is a ninjutsu from among the Nara clan's secret techniques that uses materialised shadows to attack and bind, instead of merely immobilising and controlling like the Shadow Imitation Technique. The user changes the shape of their shadow into several sharp needles and controls each separately. They can then attack several targets simultaneously and at the same time snatch away their ability to move by sewing them stuck with the shadow threads. Because it is a physical attack, it is impossible to capture someone without harming them, but on the other hand, since the speed of invocation and the time of duration are excellent, it can be used when urgent restraint is required.

This technique is usually used to go through the target and capture them, but depending on the opponent, it can also be used as an attack to bring them down. This special characteristic finds its greatest effect when used as logistical support. After this technique hits someone, it can then be directly transformed back into the Shadow Imitation Technique.

It was given its name because, above all else, strangulation is the most efficient method. The smaller the distance to the target, the greater the power of the shadow. The Mind Body Switch Technique is the signature ability of the Yamanaka clan. With it, a ninja sends his mind into a target's body supplanting the target's mind with their own. The user transfers their consciousness to the target, giving them complete control of the body for a short period of time. While in control of the body, the user is able to communicate with the target. As the user propels all of their mental energy, the shooting range and number of hits are considerably limited. It is also possible for the user to switch bodies with the target. This has great strategic value when used on a team-mate as neither body is left incapacitated and they may also make use of the user's abilities as well as their own while doing this. To remain inconspicuous when spying, the user can perform this technique on an animal, such as a hawk, which they can use to do aerial reconnaissance.

Normally, their original body is left defenceless while this technique is active, leaving it susceptible to attack until they return. The user of this technique firstly transfers their mind into a puppet laid somewhere in advance, near the vicinity of an enemy's predicted path, before manipulating it to attack an intended opponent. When the opponent counters and inflicts damage upon the puppet or the puppet inflicts damage on the enemy, the cursed seal will take effect, causing the kanji 'curse' (呪, noroi) to disappear from the puppet's forehead and the two consciousness (that of the user's inside the puppet and that of the victim who countered) to switch. Consequently, the user will gain full control of the opponent's body, while the victim's mind remains trapped within the immobile puppet.

Like the original technique, the user's body is left defenceless while the ability is active. If the posessed body is hurt, tt would be felt by the user of this technique- though the actual damage will not be reflected onto their own body.

Initially this technique will consume a small sum of chakra in order to create the clay for the clone, however much like Kage Bunshin, the clone then takes a sum of about 1/5 of the user's max chakra.

It specializes in hand-to-hand combat, albeit only at a basic genin-level, can be used as a medium for other justu (such as bakuton, katon, ect...) Much like clay clone, if attacked it can take the enemy into it's body to immobilize them at cost of its own mobility.

This is a special genjutsu in which the user activates by catching the desired targets in a cloud of light grey clay dust expelled from the mouth (one must be wary of wind currents as the direction the dust will blow depends much on it). Once caught in the genjutsu the target will see themselves as being surrounded by innumerable clay minions that seem to seep up from the earth. If attacked they only multiply. One after another the clay minions will attack the victim, and the victim will eventually see themselves become completely covered in a mass of clay and feel as if suffocating within the genjutsu.

Description:

After placing a large sum on clay in their mouth, the user will then concentrate their chakra into the clay as they perform the Dog | Ram | Tiger | Dragon | Snake hand seals. After the last hand seal is performed the user will expel the clay from their mouth with will burst forth as if one had opened the gates of a dam. The clay will then form a colossus (40 foot tall minion) in the shape of the user's choosing. This colossus will then fight for them, albeit with rather slowed movements, its attacks are quite powerful. Like all other of the clay techniques this can be used to entrap an enemy at cost of its mobility.

This tech consumes about 2/5 of the user's max chakra, if they have jounin-level chakra reserves. Do not attempt with lower chakra reserves.

If someone manages to cut the colossus down it will reduce half of its overall height and become two separate beings. This will continue to happen the more the colossus is cut apart until it reaches the size of a 2 ft tall minion.
