Reason For Defection:

Yuu's official reason for leaving Konohagakure is one of pettiness. He claims that the life of a shinobi in chains is to stagnant, the rules and boundaries limiting him to doing what he truly wants to do. His true reason however is much darker; Yuu desiring to become a feared monster much like the Jinchuuriki and Bijuu that plague the world. As such, he will often use Jiongu to prolong his own life in order to become a 'monster of legend'. What he plans to do with such power is unknown, although many would guess that he take revenge upon Iwagakure and Kumogakure.

4 Counts of Murder: The killing of one Yu no Kuni Daimyo & his heir, 2 Konohagakure ANBU members

APPEARANCE:

Despite being well past middle age,Yuu maintains the appearance of a rather young male. This is due to the Jiongu ability that fuels his body. Starting from the top, Yuu possesses dull silver hair that is almost gray in color. Something which greatly displeases him as it reminds him of old age. Said hair is consistently messy, Yuu never once brushing it. Along the lower left side of his cheek to the upper right end of his forehead is a stitch like pattern, those stitches being a result of his techniques. He has bright green eyes, Yuu often wearing rather large bottle type glasses with this despite having perfect vision. 

Yuu is a fairly tall individual, being 198 cm in height. He possesses a lean athletic build like most shinobi, his muscles being highly well defined although not overtly large. Yuu's body structure is eerily similar to that of a rag doll. In various portions of his body, large stitching can be seen seemingly keeping it together. This is most common around the joints, although there most prominent one is a large diagonal stitch going from his upper right shoulder to lower left hip. Over his heart there is a large visible web like thread, the threading where he inserts and keeps new hearts. 

When it comes to attire, Yuu tries to maintain an air of simplicity - which is fairly odd considering the man is anything but simple. To begin, he can often be seen with a simple black t-shirt. Said shirt is somewhat dulled by age, becoming quite faded over the decade. With this, Yuu will wear loose fitting black pants. On the right hip is a tanned holster, said holster holding all the basic equipment a shinobi would normally carry. To complete the basic attire, Yuu wears a pair of the sandard white shinobi sandals. 

As for accessories, Yuu possesses very little on his body. He still wears his Konohagakure hitae, a jagged slash cut through the village symbol. Yuu wears his around his forehead, although he keeps it placed upside down and tilted slightly downward for some odd reason. When travelling, Yuu will often wear a rather large white coat. Aside from keeping him warm on colder nights, the coat serves to help hide his appearance by limiting the amount of stitches seen. 

Despite being a high ranking missing nin, Yuu doesn't exactly have a gruff appearance. Aside from his unnecessary glasses he wears, Yuu has no visible cosmetic markings. He has no visible scars aside from his Jiongu markings and possesses zero tattoos. 

PERSONALITY:

Yuu is a very intimidating man to most to say the least. To begin, Yuu is never one for proper formalities. He is undeniably blunt in his approach, saying exactly what he thinks no matter whom he is addressing. This has been the case ever since his younger days, Yuu always being reprimanded for stirring up trouble with his sharp tongue. He finds that people getting visbly upset is highly amusing to him. 

At over 50 years of age, Yuu has become quite jaded with the world around him. In his mind, experience has given him the authority to speak above everyone else. This shows that Yuu is quite arrogant for the most part. He tends to refer to the current shinobi of the world as 'youngins', believing that the fact that he has been alive since the end of the Second Age has granted him superiority over the others. This arrogance extends to even the way he fights, believing that he shouldn't have to sully his own hands in battle. This of course, explains his average reaction time and poor taijutsu abilities. 

As with quite a few missing nin, Yuu has no qualms about endangering the lives around him. To him, the world is simply a game meant for his own amusement. This falls into his fighting style, Yuu not worrying about something as trivial as casualties - allowing him to utilize large area of effect ninjutsu without a second thought. Over the years he can be described as something of a sociopath, although not quite there yet. 

Incredibly sarcastic, Yuu is one to try and hurt with words first and foremost. 

Although he likes to give off a face of uncaring, Yuu does get angry at times. Oddly enough he does have a sliver of morals, which unfortunately doesn't always come up. Due to this own past, he is highly against what he deems as inhumane experimentation or taking prisoners. As such he'll simply kill a person in his own twisted sense of mercy should it be needed. he often does this by stealing their own organs with a sense of sadism, often calling them donations to prolong his own life.

HISTORY:

[Genesis Chapter: Birth - Age 3]

As with most hardened clinically insane criminals, Yuu began somewhere in life. Yuu was born towards the very end of what would become known as the Second Age of the world. His father Hikyo was apart of the many scattered clans that used to battle one another, his mother Suzuna, also being apart of that same clan. Fortunately for Yuu he didn't have to grow up in these times of strife, being too young to remember and too young to participate in them. They weren't a particularly important clan, in fact they were only a clan in the loosest sense of the word with no special abilities and relying on basic ninja techniques. As such they didn't have nearly as big of a target as the other prominent shinobi clans settling within the Land of Fire. 

Yuu was only 2 years of age when Date Atushi began gathering the local clans among the land of Fire. Hikyo greatly wanted to join the man, knowing that he was one of the strongest in all of the lands.

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

Jiongu - Throughout Yuu's body is a series of interconnected threads, intertwined directly with his Chakra Pathway System. As such, these threads act as an extension of Yuu's own body, able to be manipulated with chakra alone. Jiongu is a fairly powerful supplementary ability, allowing Yuu to extend his reach with physical strikes or even sow up his own wounds. It's true strength however lies in the prolonging of Yuu's own life, the threads latching onto an opponents heart and allowing Yuu to integrate it into his own body.
