Yomi is without a doubt a boy with a fairly tall and skinny body, perfectly built for speedy and agile maneuvers. Though skinny he is not without muscles, the result of years of intense training for his profession as a shinobi. With a physique like his, one which would cause even the gods to envy him. He is the host of the Hachibi. Physically Yomi's body is at tip-top shape, almost flawless for his body-frame and age. In other words it's a well toned physique befitting of a respectable shinobi. This shinobi's posture is perfect and gives him a noble air which is further cemented with every carefully measured step, every efficient motion, and every proud stance. The way he presents himself is found as a stunning quality. Standing tall and proud, head held high, shoulders back, and with a walk that commands your respect and your attention. The boy's skin is just as shady as his attitude.

Many have seen the yellow eyes that are borne unto those of the young Chunin. Eyes are an eerie, reassuring light yellow color. Eyes that are a nice saffron shading, a shade that can sometimes be a hint of orange when in different lighting. These eyes hold a great deal of calmness in them, always seeming to be analyzing, calculating, absorbing and then evaluating the things that happen around him. The deep eyes seem to go on forever, and his stare appears to see through everything and even into the hearts of people. His piercing eyes are unwavering in their gaze, constantly watching with all the precision of a hawk. Those eyes are truly one of his intimidating features.

BACKGROUND

PERSONALITY:

Yomi is usually depicted as a lively, carefree, and childlike individual, who almost always has a smile on his face. However, despite this happy persona, he is considered absolutely dangerous and ruthless amongst the other shinobi when it comes to fighting and battle. He also holds a rather bleak view on life, questioning once as to whether or not people actually have a reason for living, as well as looking at death as the ultimate answer to the hardships.

Yomi is one of the most mysterious shinobi throughout the entire Cloud village since his almost constant smile combined with his heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness, make it very difficult to discern his thoughts. Many find his demeanor and appearance rather unsettling and there are very few who were willing to trust him. Yomi is fully aware of the effect he has on others; toying with people's emotional states is something he finds rather amusing.

Away from the field of battle, Yomi is known to be a rather calm ninja with a sharp tongue. His movements are usually swift and graceful, even if the language that pours from his mouth is not so elegant. Having incredible Taijutsu skill and Ninjutsu prowess allows the ninja to perform any task with little effort, and thus makes it easier for him to move as gracefully as he does.

Being the plotting type, Yomi tends to keep his own ideals and secrets to himself. His true purpose behind any actions he take is usually kept unspoken and unknown, as are the secrets of others. Because of this, he happens to be a rather trustworthy person to confide secrets to and people usually take advantage of this fact. Not much is known about whether or not he later is to use these secrets to his advantage, however it is so known that he tends not to spread words that need not be spoken.

HISTORY:

His very name - Yomi ("Underworld"), which was given to him by a mysterious man who saved his life prior to becoming an orphan, employs the hardship he has gone through as a youngster. He has absolutely no knowledge of who his parents are or whether or not they ever existed.

In the orphanage, many of the other kids picked on him and avoided any type of interaction with him unless it involved harming his well-being. For as long as he could manage, Yomi allowed himself to be constantly bullied. It wasn't until the beast within reached out to him. "Kill them" were the words that would echo within the mind of the young orphan on a depressing day. On that same day Yomi ended up paralyzing a kid from the neck down by severely damaging his spinal cord. Yomi was reprimanded and immediately sent into confinement which was a dull empty room with no bed and four rugged walls for three weeks. He couldn't play with the other children or go outside. Just himself and the Hachibi stayed together, isolated for three weeks away from the world.

Being secluded changed Yomi completely. He couldn't tolerate anyone's crap for a day more, it didn't matter if they were older or younger. He got himself into lots of trouble in the orphanage, becoming damn near impossible to deal with. Eventually everyone started to fear him and decided it was best for them to keep their distance.

When Yomi turned seven, he left the orphanage and was adopted by a retired shinobi. At this point, Yomi didn't really care much about being in a family. He continued living the same lifestyle even while under the retired shinobi's care. He wasn't so kind and loving to people, even his foster siblings didn't really enjoy his personality or company for that matter.

The best thing his caretaker could do for the him was enroll him into the academy. There was where he manifested much of his insane and somewhat corrupt personality. Many of the kids feared and hated him but were forced to notice him since he was one of the top students. Yomi was naturally talented in both his ninjutsu training and hand to hand combat. He excelled and gone through all obstacles the academy had to offer, the only obstacle he couldn't overcome was making friends. But that was alright, he was able to graduate without the help of friends.

After two weeks of preparations and basic run-throughs, and skill analysis, Yomi along with his teammates Raito Hitashi, and Yadomi Naru, and there Jônin instructor, Hirobei; the four would begin their duties for the village of Kumogakure no Sato. The four man clll would take part in numerous low-level (D-ranked) missions which usually consisted of village volunteer aid. Hitashi being the kind one of the three Genin besides Naru was quite accepting of such diplomatic missions as retuning mislaid pets, and cleaning the village in terms of rubbish obligation. However Yomi was considered the shallow one, always making matters much more difficult for the four, leading Hirobei into situations where he’d have to defend the actions of Yomi’s disobedient behavior; Naru and Hitashi could only giggle at the matter.

When not attending to daily missions and typical training sessions with his squadron, Yomi would spend his days taking part in rigid training sessions by himself to not only learn techniques and skills, but to become a proficient user if not master them. To Yomi’s surprise, his foster father was the one of the many few to have mastered the Raiton element; it was now Yomi’s mission to become to not only learn powerful techniques, but master them. The training was indeed difficult, however Yomi’s strong will and determination to become better than the usual not only inspired him to strive harder, but also inspired his grandfather to better prepare his only grandchild for the dangerous future which was destined for all accomplished Shinobi.

Six months into his Genin lifestyle, Genin and his team after accomplishing a number of low-ranking missions was finally given their chance to prove their worth by accepting a new mission (C-ranked), issued by their current village leader. The mission was simple, however held great importance for Kumogakure and its trading market with other hidden villages. Yomi, Hitashi, Naru and Hirobei was hired as body guards to escort a group (seven) merchants to the Hidden Leaf village with a shipment of mercantile goods from Kumogakure. The night before however, the four Shinobi would celebrate their first team C-rank mission, Hirobei sipping on Sake and Yomi failed attempts at snagging it from their sensei as Naru and Hitashi founded water and tea. It was quite evident that the two were close and Yomi could only find this nothing other then funny which was indicated threw his constant generation of humorous jesters followed by Naru and Hitashi's immediate denial to the assumptions.

While on the mission for the most part, things were quite smooth; the group was nearly almost to Konohagakure and nothing had intrigued intervention for the shinobi, however this wouldn’t last. Two days before their estimated arrival into the village, the group was attacked by a band of rouge Shinobi who somehow grasp importation to the whereabouts of the shipment in attempts to kill everyone in site and salvage the shipment for their own use in the underground markets. However the Shinobi would soon take evasion action to defend not only the shipment but the helpless crew who were need to port the goods.

The battle between the two sides would soon begin as Yomi, Naru, Hitashi, and Hirobei would begin to fight the bandits. Hirobeibeing an elite Shinobi was expected to need no aid in his section of the fight; however Yomi, Naru, and Hitashi would have their difficulty on their part. Making quick disposal of his opponent, Hirobeii was instruct his time to hang in there until he successfully secured the crewmates and shipment While doing so, Hitashi and Naru would handle one of the rouges as Yomi was facing one single-handedly.

For the most part, Yomi was able to at least fight on par with his opponent, it was odd to say the least; the bandit being older had arguably more experience their Yomi. However that didn’t diminish the youthful geniuses natural talent and skill. Hitashi and Naru also showed great skill as they were able to fend off their opponent while Yomi handled his. From afar, Hirobei kept sneaking a site at his students as he continued to save the party of seven. His expectations for his squad has far exceeded anything that he imagined, to think that his team was this skilled, but not only that; they displayed critical corporation between each other and effectively expressed proficient use of the basic Shinobi proficiency, if not more, truly insightful.

As the battle raged on, Hitashi, and Naru had finally defeated their foe as Hitashi used his combination of unorthodox sword-play and his progressive Genjutsu skill, along with Naru’s proficient use of Ninjutsu. On the other hand, Yomi still hadn’t defeated his opponent. It was most likely that Yomi’s skilful combination of Taijutsu and Ninjutsu were the key factors that allowed him to progress this far, however his opponent was of great skill and wouldn’t be defeated with mere trickery. Naru and Hitashi’s calls for aid would go unheard as Yomi stressed to leave this fight to him, no entries and this it would continue.

After twelve’s more minutes of collective combat, the battle between the two would soon end as Yomi walked away victorious through the sudden eruption of the dangerous Hachibi's volatile chakra, leaving his foe in a comatose state, however though his victory it was clear, it would come with a price as the young male was dealt a mortal strike to his chest up to his shoulder blade as he was slashed by the opponents sword, sending him towards the ground as he feel unconscious.

Once awoken, Yomi found himself in what seemed to be infirmary and Naru to his side. After moments of conversation between the two, Yomi found out that he was indeed injured in the fight and rendered unconscious, however was brought her by his team to the Konohagakure hospital. Once hearing the news that the mission was a success and the shipment had made it safely to the docks for distributing, Yomi and his team would soon return to their home in Kumogakure as they were expected to give a report on what had happened on their missions.

A few days after their arrival home, Hitashi and Naru found themselves at the peak of a large mountain which resides close the village, enjoying each other’s company as they ate and held a personal picnic. Laughs were exchanged between the two as they shared jokes and continued to have a bliss time until the two reached for the last rice ball; looking up at one another, Naru would soon lean in towards Hitashi who would soon follow as they would attempt to kiss. However was interrupted by their other teammate Yomi who came with great news. Yomi gave the news that due to the extremes of their mission, it was bumped from C-rank to B-rank which was a great feet for the Genin squad. Still injured it hurt every time Yomi lifted for joy, however Hitashi and Naru gave a hand which symbolized their strong bond. Naru gradually leaned in for a kiss on the cheek as Hitashi began to blush significantly, Yomi still constantly laughing at them, a perfect friendship to say the least.

After enduring only four years as a Genin Yomi was chosen out of a select few to befall and obtain the representative rank of Chūnin. Since the Chūnin Exams wouldn’t be contested in Konohagakure for another three years that undeviating approach was unavailable but however the Hokage has the administrative authority to assign ninjas to certain ranks if he felt they deserved the rank and Yomi wasn’t an exception. After spending a few more months as a Genin the pronouncement was definitive and Yomiwas drafted and promoted to the ranks of Chūnin, branding him legitimately as a Shinobi Genius allowing the attainment to the ranks of Chūnin at the young age of fifteen marking a new fragment into his lives periodical journal.

As a Chunin, did the young Jinchuuriki not only unlock lantent control over some of the Hachibi's chakra, but Yomi would also participate in abundant of missions, mainly consisting of C-rank and D-rank with an increase of B-rank as he continued to manufacture diplomacy in his village. His reputation grew vastly within Kumoagakure as the majority of its citizens knew him unswervingly and obliquely. His dreams were finally being materialized as his endowment was becoming noticed, not only by the citizens but also higher ranking officials within the Cloud village. With all this recognition, one would anticipate Yomi to revolutionize drastically, however Yomi was still the same as he always was, just stronger and more experienced.

Most of his B and C ranking missions were mainly the occupation of a personal bodyguard/Task force agent, and thus he’d traveled to many places, gaining bits of knowledge with ever location his feet had stepped upon. His knowledge of the world was more enacted then that of a typical Shinobi which was evident threw his progression of skill. As a Task Force Agent, Yomi encounters many difficulties on the road who intend to fault his transportation as well as his objective but still manages to pull through. Now that he has acquired regonition from not only the people from Kumo but also the Hachibi. The time has come for him to work on his relationship with his tailed beast.

NINJA SKILLS

SPECIAL ABILITIES:

→ [Super Durability] - The first ability granted to Yomi from the Hachibi is incredible durability/pain tolerance. He is able to withstand normal taijutsu attacks without flinching. It would take incredible force to damage him. At the same time, he cannot be easily cut, as a his skin is so rough that it would take a very sharp weapon to penetrate his skin.

→ [Ink Creation] - Yomi is also able to form ink in his mouth and/or spew it through his pores. The ink can be used for a variety of things, such as using his ink covered finger as a makeshift pencil or using the ink to blind an opponent. Yomi can even substitute his body for ink when using the body replacement technique. Additionally, without even needing to use hand seals, he can emit or spit a version of ink from his mouth or pores which is so sticky and thick that it can take some time to remove if not washed off with water. The ink can come out as either a liquid or a gas, if gas then its effect is similar to a smoke grenade.

→ [Eight Strikes Practitioner] - With great versatility comes this style of ultimate utility- the premise of this style is to use the entire body to fight, and so uses the full power of elbows, crown of the head, knees and even the forearms. Highly varied, but this style is actually fairly coordinated and somewhat easy to predict.

→ [ Wrestling Style Fighter] - Wrestling is a form of combat involving grappling type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds. Wrestling is a physical confrontation, between two (occasionally more) competitors or sparring partners, who attempt to gain and maintain a superior position over there enemies using this style of fighting, if a user of this style is physical strong this can be a very effect and deadly way of fighting ones enemy. This style can also be versatile in that multiple wrestling can be preformed either one after another from position the last move left them in or can be done at the same time causing multiple damage. User can also perform maneuvers like power-bombs and other such wrestling moves.

BIJUU'S PERSONALITY:

Hachibi is a Ox-Cephalopod marked by conventional, traditional interests. While he does possess an above average intelligence he is not one that could be described as intellectually curious and normally prefers things to be as plain and straightforward as possible. He has a minor appreciation for things such as art, beauty, and abstract thinking but he often refers to them, in open conversation, as being abstruse or of no practical use. He is resistant to change and regards those who are not with suspicion.

Hachibi is by no means an overly conscientious individual and will often scoff such notions as self-discipline, duty, and honor. He does, however, have an extraordinary work ethic when attempting to achieve his personal desires. He does not often seek trouble but finds no reason to back away from a harsh situation when confronted, and he is given to brief periods of sporadic behavior.

Hachibi is not known for his compassion or social graces evidenced by the fact that he does not get along well with the vast majority of people. This may stem from his overly pessimistic view of human nature or simply be a by-product of his inconsiderate, confrontational, and uncompromising attitude. He regards others with skepticism and can act very suspiciously as well as being uncooperative. He believes people must be fraudulent or self-centered to truly excel in life and is generally unconcerned with other's well being. It is extremely rare for him to extend himself for another person unless it can directly benefit him in some way.

Hachibi is very susceptible to negative emotions and exhibits questionable impulse control. He does tend to have very emotional reactions to things and the one emotion he usually responds with is rage. Genuine, feral, balls to the wall anger and the reaction will quite often largely exceed the catalyst. His negative emotional state can persist for unnaturally long periods of time which often mean he is in a bad mood. When he really makes an effort he can cope more effectively with stress and restrain his lesser instincts but those occurrences are few and far between.

RELATIONSHIP:

Yomi and Gyūki have a mutual relationship, neither of the two feels dependant on the other despite needing each other to survive. Often times you can find them insulting each other's strength but when the situation warrants it they will try to work together. Due to Yomi being prideful, Gyūki wil only lend him a portion of his chakra before he decides to take control and unleash his own rage.

INITIAL FORM:

The first form grants Yomi some measure of Hachibi's chakra. This form typically emerges when Yomi becomes enraged. His eyes turn circular and are a shining yellow color. His hair becomes bushy, his incisors grow longer and his fingernails grow sharp. In this form he is surrounded in the Hachibi chakra and is able to move more quickly, use more chakra draining jutsu, increase the toughness of his body for more durability and strike with more force.

VERSION ONE:

First Tailed Form - The Hachibi grants Yomi even more power than before, causing the red chakra surrounding Yomi to boil and bubble and take on the shape of a demonic ox with long horns and a tail. This chakra is not bound to Yomi's body, being able to move and extend in as striking limbs. Though Yomi remains conscious in this state, the chakra can seemingly react of its own will. In this state the chakra will also act as a defense against incoming attacks.

Second Tailed Form - When entering the two-tail state, Yomi becomes even more beast-like in appearance. His eyes grow larger and become outlined in a rough black. His incisor teeth also grow even larger than before.

Third Tailed Form - Yomi's three-tail form resembles that of two-tails. In this state Yomi's able to roar and extend chakra outwards to devastating result. This outwards destructive sphere of chakra is so intense so that it destroies surrounding matter and violently pushes back any incoming attack with but a simple roar.

VERSION TWO:

Fourth Tailed Form - In this form Yomi loses all sense of himself, becoming a pure destructive beast with no regard for even his closest friends. In Yomi's internal Hachibi prison, he crosses the protective barrier and falls into Hachibi's grasp. Externally the Hachibi chakra begins to melt off Yomi's very skin. His body changes to resemble the Hachibi's eerie face when enraged, and his hands form sharp claws. Horns and four tails extend from his body and he roars with a sharp maw of teeth. This form proves insanely destructive, able to roar, swipe and attack with hugely destructive results. And should any foes dare touch his form, they'll be burned by the intense heat. Unfortunately such prolonged usage of the Hachibi tailed state is further weakening the seal used to contain the bijuu.

Fifth Tailed Form - Fifth-tail state is an expansion of the forth tailed state, just another tail added.

Sixth Tailed Form - This six-tails state is a further expansion on the fifth-tailed form. Yomi first encases himself in the poisonous dark chakra. After the feral form is generated, bones will grow to form a ox skeleton to surround Yomi.

PARTIAL TRANSFORMATION:

Seventh Tailed Form - This seven-tails state is a further expansion on the six-tailed form. Within Yomi's internal Hachibi prison, the seal on his chest will spin, releasing more of Hachibis chakra. With the skeletal structure formed by going six-tails, muscles grow to surround the body.

TAILED BEAST MODE:

The full Hachibi is unleashed, Yomi is no longer present, in this state it is Gyūki. Gyūki possesses a massive supply of chakra and is able to use the Tailed Beast Ball, as well as fire them in rapid succession at a target. A single Tailed Beast Ball from it could penetrate nine of the thirty-six barriers without even exploding. Going with its octopus theme, Gyūki can also produce ink to blind its enemies as well as form ink clones to bind them. It can also generate enormous tornadoes which can level an entire forest with ease. Its enormous horns are incredibly sharp, capable of easily impaling a human being.

Gyūki has immense physical strength, being able to temporarily restrain Kurama, contain a direct Tailed Beast Ball from the fox,and completely stop Isobu in full motion using only its extended tentacles, along with swiping Kokuō‎ aside at the same time. It was able to endure being burned by Amaterasu for a considerable amount of time, continue battling after being gored by Kokuō‎ and slammed by Son Gokū, and even survive its own Tailed Beast Ball that was deflected by the Ten-Tails. Its tentacles offer it several additional appendages with which to interact with its surroundings and strike targets, but they are also easily severed. Even with its immense size, it has shown a high level of speed when it attacks, and was even fast enough to block Amaterasu with its fist.
