Hyouton | Ice Release - Special Ability [Special Ability Slot Only]
Ice Release is an advanced nature Kekkei Genkai formed through the simultaneous use of Wind and Water-based chakra natures to create ice, snow, or even frost. This ability can also be used to manipulate temperature so it could become colder as well. Because of this, those with this Kekkei Genkai are also slightly resistant to the cold. The ice created by Ice release is flame resistant to a high degree. Users can also use their Kekkei Genkai to freeze water and manipulate it. Ice Release Techniques are commonly affiliated with the Bird/Rooster hand seal.  Note, the Ice Release is a rare Kekkei Genkai for the Yuki.

Suiton [Water Release] & Fuuton [Wind Release] Skills
Though a few in number, the ninjas of the Yuki clan tend to have either Suiton and/or Fuuton chakra natures. They also shown great skill via training and hard work with these elements. Over the years, the Yuki developed jutsus that they closely guarded for these elements. Raiton appears in the family rarely though.

Above Average Good Looks
The Yuki are known for their beautiful/handsome members. The hair color ranges along with eye colors. But most Yuki tend to have athletic/tone bodies with good skin and features. They are slightly paler then average though. Besides their good looks, they are known for their controlling their emotions, their cunning wit, and determination.

Umihebi [Sea Serpent] Summoning Contract
The Yuki clan has the sole possession of the Sea Serpent contract. This was acquired by their ancestor who was named Yuki. It was retrieved after their ancestors's when the clan founder Shiro formally obtained and got this contact. Since then, they are the clan's signature summon. 

History:

The Yuki clan dates way before the warring states era. The ancestor was a man named Yuki and was said to be a follower of the the Ninja Sect and the Sage of Six paths. He later married a women, and had 7 children with her. Eventually however, after arriving at Kirigakure when the children were grown up, they split apart. It was a few decades before the warring state clan era did the Yuki clan truly begin.

The first Yuki was a man name Shiro. He was known for his radiant handsome looks and pale skin.This hero of this tale was a direct decedent of first son on his father's side. On his mother side of the family, he was a direct descendant of another child of the ancestor Yuki. Sadly, his birth parents died and he was found by a couple in distant village at the border of future Kirigakure. He was the first known to demonstrate his unique powers. Oddly enough, he wasn't affected by the cold. Next was he could manipulate wind and water chakra easier then most. But the most startling first was the first time he accidentally used Hyouton [Ice Release].

Overall? He was an oddball in the village even though he was loved. He had only two true friends in that village. Those friends were Tenkou Gintama and Kuroshi Kagasaki. Tenkou was one of the most beautiful females in the village and had many people after her heart but she refused them all. She said her heart already belongs to someone but she didn’t tell who. She was also one of the few females who was a Ninja. Her parents were skilled metal workers and blacksmiths. His other friend Kuroshi was a quiet one and seemed very dark. He usually sparred with Shiro in Kenjutsu. Shiro, at this time, was starting to create a Kenjutsu style. He didn’t come up with a name at this point for it.


Finally, wanting to know why he was different, he asked his parents. They told him he was their son, but not by blood. They showed him the special sword with Shiro. They proceeded to explain the story. That he was found when they were traveling. Wanting to know the truth, he set out to where his adopted parents found him. Before he set off, he found Tenkou waiting for him. She wanted him to promise that he will come back. Shiro, wanting to ease her worries, promised to come back after he gets his answers.

After a couple of years he arrived at base of the riverbank where his adoptive parents received him. It seemed nothing suspicious except a giant snake like creature sleeping on the bank. Being very curious he walked over and poked the creature on the side with a stick. That was a stupid move, a very stupid move. The creature sat up and gave a mighty roar that echoed throughout the area. The waves crashed hard against the rock and winds began to blow like crazy. Overall it was complete mayhem.

Frightened, Shiro attempted to run away. Note the word attempted because the creature pinned him down with ease. The creature glared at Shiro and it looked furious. Shiro, being frightened, pulled out his sword and somehow activated his Hyouton chakra, causing the air to get chiller and ice to form. He then threatened the giant snake creature that he will fight to the death and won’t be an easy meal. When the creature saw the ice and sword it calmed down and began to laugh.

Thinking he was being made fun off Shiro demanded to know why the creature was laughing. He, for that moment, had forgotten his fear for the snake like creature. The creature chuckled and stated that his clan of sea serpents do NOT eat humans. He also stated even if they did he wouldn’t eat his own family member: his direct descendant of his first partner! With that the giant sea serpent released Shiro.

This made Shiro enter in a state of shock. After a few minutes of silence, he demanded proof. The giant sea serpent sighed and began telling his reasons. One reason was the sword of Shiro originally belonged to his first summoner, and only his summoner's direct kin can wield it. In fact, that sword was made from his fang. His second reason was the ices. To put it bluntly: will a normal person has the ability to create ice?!? This was an obvious factor.

The great sea serpent pulled out a scroll from somewhere. For the final proof, he said only a true descendant of Yuki can sign the Sea Serpent contract and leave their mark. Those who aren't descendant of the first summoner Yuki will have their named burned away automatically. With this in mind, trying to see if the creature was true, Shiro signed his name in blood. But behold, the name stayed there as proof!

Shiro demanded to know why he was not brought up by his familyu. The sea serpent, revealing his name to be Ryuujin, sighed and told Shiro the tale. The children of Yuki got into an argument of what to do. Eventually, they set apart. The sea serpents and Yuki knew this would happen. But there was a prophecy that said one day the clan will reunite under banner of a white warrior. That was where Shiro came in. His name and hair was white, he was a direct descent of Yuki. So he was meant to gather the Yuki descendants and show their might. Ryuujin had only request: that Shiro take the surname of Yuki to honor his fallen friend. If Shiro agreed to this, Ryuujin and the Sea Serpents will ally with the Yuki clan. Ryuujin also told Shiro he will train him if he did honor his duty.

Shiro, wanting always a purpose in life and a family, agreed. The next five years he trained hard in Kenjutsu, Suiton, Fuuton, and Hyouton. He also learned how to fight with the sea serpents. Finally, he was finished with his training. Yuki Shiro (as he is know known) sets off to gather the Yuki descendants and followers. With effort and the Sea Seprents, he managed this and reunite all the living Yukis under his banner.

After he arrived to his hom village, he found it in a state of chaos. It turned out Kuroshi accidentally released a wicked spirit and now is causing mayhem on the village. He is demanding riches and that Tenkou Gintama would become his wife. This made him furious and rushed to where Kuroshi was.

They confronted each other and it turned out that Kuroshi was easily able to processes because of his jealousy over Shiro's skills and Tenkou's love for Shiro. They quickly went into a fight. It lasted 2 days and one night yet it seemed neither of them was willing to give up, however Shiro could have won eaily. It was because he was unwilling to kill his old friend that the fight lasted so long. Finally Kuroshi managed to gain control. He demanded Shiro to kill him and asked with a smile that Shiro marry Tenkou. Kuroshi knew he wasn't going to last long so he wanted Shiro to end his life.

After he stated these words, the dark spirit and Kuroshi began fighting for control. It seemed neither of them was willing to give up. However Kuroshi managed to get control enough to grab Shiro's blade and stab himself in the gut. As Kuroshi laid there dying, he had a smile on his face. He turned to Shiro and asked for his forgiveness. Shiro, wanting to ease his best friend, stated he was never angry at Shiro. He was only mad at the spirit. Kuroshi smiled and closed his eyes, to never open them again. To end the story, Shiro and Tenkou got married and had many children.

These children would would be the start of the Head Family. The other followers and descendant swill result in the main branch and side branches. Note, when they were seperated the lesser branches were treated equally and could rise in rank. Except for one field: only the Head Family can become the clan leader/heir.

During the second age, the mainly keep their distance from the other clans. Trying to stay neutral and peaceful. But it all changed during the third age. When Tsubaya Kohaku was trying to create a village, he tried recruited the Yuki clan and Yuki officially join Kirigakure after much discussion. Ever since then, they see through a multiple of Kages.
