WORDS doesn't matter TAGS OPEN NOTES none CHAKRA 100% | His crimson orbs gazed up towards the darkening skies as the evening breeze tossed his ivory locks before them. His lip was formed into a slight frown suggesting perhaps something he found rather unsatisfactory. However after several minutes of standing there on his balcony staring up at the heavens he sighed and let out a small chuckle. "There's nothing to worry about anymore. Right, father?" He lowered his head closing his eyes for a moment as the cool breeze continued to play with his pair. It felt nice this evening, even a bit refreshing really. He had definitely been cooped up inside his office for far too long. Hell he had nearly forgotten what it exactly felt like to step out and enjoy to cool evening breeze, it had been so long. His fingers tightened around the pommel of his shikomizue as he held the tip of it firm against the ground like it was any ordinary cane. Before long he knocked his head back facing towards the sky once more if only a little bit to look back towards the clouds, "It's been twenty-six years since I received word of your demise on the battlefield and became the leader of our clan. I wonder, did you actually die out there, or perhaps you're somewhere right now, needing assistance to get home." He spoke to no one, his words would drift towards an unnamed destination on the cool breeze. "Have you forgotten us? Have you made yourself a new life? I wonder sometimes." Another smile graced his features as he reached up with one hand and brushed his bangs out of his eyes for a moment. "Father, I just hope, where ever you did end up, that you're happy." When his hand fell back down to his side the smile faded from his face being replaced by a more solemn expression. "All of us miss you." He wiped the forming tears away from his eyes as he once more gazed out towards the horizon. As he did several leaves fluttering about on the breeze danced by the balcony as if in perfect harmony with their captor. Truly a beloved sight to behold, and one that brought a small pained smile to his face. "Where ever the wind blows, that's where I hope you go." He then fell silent for several long moments before turning his head a bit to the right to address the person that he had heard, despite his ramblings, approach from within the building, "Is there something that you needed me for?" |
